Your designs and uploads

The flag editor runs entirely in your browser. The layouts, shapes, symbols, text and colors you use are processed on your device and are not sent to or stored on our servers. Images you add through Uploads stay in your browser too. They are held in memory while you work, and if you save a design that uses one, it is stored with that design in your browser's storage. They are never uploaded to us.

Saved flags

When you click Save, the design is stored in your browser's local storage on this device, where it appears under My flags. We cannot see, recover or restore these designs. Clearing your browsing data or the site data for this site deletes them, and they do not carry over to another browser or device. Download a copy of any design you want to keep.

Downloads

PNG, JPG and SVG files are generated in your browser and saved straight to your device.

Analytics

We use Clicky to count visits and see which pages and referrers bring them. We run it with cookies turned off, and it anonymizes IP addresses before storing them. Its script loads from our own domain and its requests are passed on to Clicky. It does not see your flag designs or uploaded images.

Hosting

The site is served by Vercel, which may log IP addresses and request metadata for security and operations under its own privacy policy.
