Can I print a flag I design?

Yes. Download your design as an SVG or a large PNG and send it to any flag printing company. Flag Maker does not print flags itself, but the files it exports are ready for a printer. Set the ratio to match the size you are ordering before you download.

A 3x5 ft flag needs a 3:5 file, and a 2x3 ft flag needs 2:3. If the shapes differ, the printer has to crop or stretch it. SVG is safest because it scales to any size without blurring. See what size a 3x5 flag is in pixels if they want a PNG.

Ask whether they print single or double sided. On a single-sided flag the back shows a mirror image, so any text reads backward. That is one reason the design guidelines avoid lettering. The custom flag printing guide covers sizes, materials and file prep.
